Shark Tank is relatively new, as this is the second year we've been using this model at ISH. With Shark Tank, we want to help you, not scare you, so if you have any questions about the requirements read them here or ask one of the GIN advisors or supervisors :)

GOAL

Shark Tank's goal is for the groups to create a plan for their project. The groups will have around one month to decide what project they want to carry out and to create an action plan. The action plan will be presented by each group to a group of GIN supervisors/advisors, who will make sure your plan is good. By the end of December, every group should have an action plan and a clear idea of what they're going to do, in order to make the most out of their time for the rest of the school year.

RULES AND REQUIREMENTS 

The rules and requirements vary from year group to year group. The rules are the same for the following year groups:

• Year 7 & 8 

• Year 9 - 11 

• Year 12 -13

With these requirements, we want to challenge you in order to make the best action plan but not make it impossible.

GENERAL RULES 

The rules that apply to all are the following. 

Every group must:

• Include at least one SDG in their plan

• Have a realistic goal they can carry out in the school year 

• Have a thorough action plan they can present

• Every group must present their action plan by the end of December 

• Specify if they need anything from the GIN supervisors/advisors 

• Reflect on their project (for more info. read the requirements based on the year groups)
